  3. The ice has turned black today . No movement yet. Forgot my camera so no picture today

  4. I checked the Environment Canada and Climate Change website for the water levels on the Montreal River at Latchford and the river peaked about midnight on the 13th. OPG will start playing with the water level now that the main freshet is finished for the spring.

    1. Main road is bare. Back road has snow in places but wheel tracks are down to the dirt .Your dwy is bare from what I can see

  7. Never in the 50 odd years I have been going up to the lake have I seen such a late ice breakup and/or for the snow to be gone. Seen lots of frost still in the ground but nothing like this year.
